Hebrews 9:12 · Ephesians 1:7
Nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. In whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
Reflection
When Jesus died and rose again, the Bible says He secured an “eternal redemption”. Redemption means paying a ransom price to buy a slave out of a market and set him free.
We were slaves to our sin, and we owed a huge debt to God’s law. Jesus did not pay just a small part of the price. He paid the full price with His own life. Because His payment lasts forever, you are set free for all eternity.

Theology
The Hope
Jesus bought your freedom with His own blood, and that freedom will never end.
Daily life
The Heart
We worry that our salvation might run out if we have a bad day or stumble into weakness.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for buying my freedom with the precious blood of Jesus. Help me to live today as a free child, not as a scared slave. Amen.
