Weeks
Each week walks Monday to Saturday toward Sunday’s sermon and study.
Ecclesiastes · Week 4·Oct 26 – Nov 1
The Reverence of Silence
Seven days in Ecclesiastes 5:1–7. We live in endless noise. We talk, we post opinions, and we work hard to make our voices heard. When we come to God, we often bring that same noise. We make big promises and treat Him like a machine that must give us what we want. God is in heaven and we are on earth. When we go to His house, our first duty is not to talk, but to listen. Jesus is the eternal Word, yet He stood silent before His judges so our sins could be washed away. We can close our mouths, open our ears, and rest with joy in His presence.
Ecclesiastes · Week 3·Oct 19 – Oct 25
The Power of Community
Seven days in Ecclesiastes 4. Many people try to run the race of life alone. We work hard, compete with others, and build walls around our hearts. Our culture says that being strong means we do not need anyone. But when we walk alone, life becomes cold, heavy, and tired. God made us for community. Two are better than one. When one person falls, a friend is there to lift them up. On the cross, Jesus took the deepest pain of being left alone so that we would never be cast out from God's family. He is the strong Friend who walks beside us and weaves our lives into a rope that cannot easily break.
Ecclesiastes · Week 2·Oct 12 – Oct 18
The Mystery of Time
Seven days in Ecclesiastes 3. We often fight the clock. We sit in traffic, wait in lines, and feel that time is slipping through our fingers. Others ask why we are not married yet, why we do not own a house, or why we have not gained a promotion. We feel late. Our days are not random. God is the Sovereign Clockmaker who sets every season under heaven. You did not pick the day of your birth, and you will not pick the day of your death. In between, God holds every hour. Jesus entered our ticking clock, died on a cross, and rose to beat death. These daily steps help you stop fighting the clock, trust God with your waiting, and rest in His hands.
Ecclesiastes · Week 1·Oct 5 – Oct 11
The Vapour of Striving
Seven days in Ecclesiastes 1–2. We work, study, and chase money or fun, hoping these things will fill the heart. Apart from God, life is a vapour — a breath of mist you cannot hold. Jesus stepped into this world of mist, died for our sins, and rose to break the cycle of emptiness. When life is safe in Him, daily work is no longer a burden to prove your worth. It becomes a gift.
The Better Word · Part 8·Sep 28 – Oct 4
The Eternal Covenant
Seven days in Hebrews 13:10–16, the last week of this journey through Hebrews. Jesus was pushed outside the city gate and died as an outcast so we could be made clean. He calls us to leave the camp of comfort, money, and human praise, and go out to Him. This world is not our home. We are looking for the eternal city God is building.
The Better Word · Part 7·Sep 21 – Sep 27
The Founder and Perfecter
Seven days in Hebrews 12:1–3. The Christian life is not a slow walk in a park. It is a long race God has set in front of you. A great crowd of past people of faith shows that God keeps His word. Drop the heavy bag. Cut the sin that wraps your feet. Fix your eyes on Jesus — the Pioneer who opened the track and the Finisher who already broke the tape.
The Better Word · Part 6·Sep 14 – Sep 20
The New and Living Way
Seven days in Hebrews 10:19–25. Long ago a thick curtain kept people from God’s holy presence. Jesus’ body was broken, the curtain was torn, and the door stands open. We come with bold confidence, and we do not walk alone — the church family helps, loves, and encourages us all the way to the Day.
The Better Word · Part 5·Sep 7 – Sep 13
The Perfect Sacrifice
Seven days in Hebrews 9:11–14. Long ago, priests used animal blood in an earthly tent, and that blood could only clean the outside. Jesus entered the real throne room of heaven with His own blood, died once for all, and cleaned our hearts completely — gathered into Sunday’s sermon and study, so we can rest and serve the living God with joy.
The Better Word · Part 4·Aug 31 – Sep 6
The Better Hope
Seven days in Hebrews 7:20–28: God’s unchanging oath, a Priest who lives forever, and a better hope that anchors the soul — gathered into Sunday’s sermon and study.
