Hebrews 13:16 · Galatians 6:9–10
But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
Reflection
True worship does not stop with our singing lips; it moves into our daily hands. The Bible says: “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God”.
In the early church, when believers left the camp, they lost their jobs and homes. They had to share their food and clothes with each other to live. When we do good to others, give to the poor, and share what we own, God smiles. He calls our love a sweet sacrifice that pleases His heart.
