But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation. For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him.
Reflection
Long ago, the Jewish people had an earthly tent made by human hands. The high priest went into that tent every year, but the people were still waiting for real, lasting help.
Then Jesus appeared. He is the true High Priest of the good things that God promised. Jesus did not walk into a tent made by men on earth. He walked into the greater and more perfect tent in heaven, where God dwells.
The long time of waiting and shadows is over because Jesus has arrived.
